Celebrating the bicentenary of Elizabeth Gaskell’s birth, Joan Leach, MBE, local historian, and writer, gives an insightful talk about how this renowned author linked to the local town of Knutsford and the surrounding area. The talk will be followed by a tour around the mansion and include a visit the exhibition featuring Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cheshire.
