Astbury Mere Country Park

Astbury Mere Country Park is 10 hectares of open space on the outskirts of Congleton. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views over Astbury Mere and the surrounding rural landscape.
There is a visitor centre, 2km of all weather paths, an easy access trail and excellent footpath links into the local countryside.
The site's wildlife interests include; mixed woodland, a pond, and extensive wildflower meadows, which are acknowledged as being some of the most biologically diverse within locality.
