Cuckoo Land & Clock Museum
Museum
Largest collection of antique cuckoo clocks. Five fairground organs, 12 trumpeter clocks and tools all from the Black Forest.
The Cuckooland Museum would like to welcome you to be astonished at the variety, quality and ingenuity associated with the ancient craft of cuckoo clock making. The museum’s collection is regarded as the most important of its type in Britain, Europe and the rest of the world.
The collection has been brought together by brothers Roman and Maz Piekarski who, as foremost horologists and clock restorers, have sought and renovated the rarest and most notable examples over careers of thirty years.
Most of the clocks within the museum are rare and unique, and combine a number of ingenious methods of time telling. The museum also hosts a range of Cuckoo and Quail clocks, Trumpeter clocks and other associated musical movements, which will play at intervals throughout your visit, all of which are varying in age and history.
