On 29th January 1858 David Livingstone visited Congleton. He was presented with an address by the town council and delivered a lecture in the Assembly Rooms. This walk will feature places associated with his visit and explain his connection with the town. All walks begin at 2.00pm from the museum, which is situated behind the town hall. Price including cream tea £4.00. Friends of Congleton Museum £3.00.
